PART 1
1. About QuickFix-Repairs Ltd
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Quickfix-Repairs Ltd website and
the emergency contractor introduction and booking service provided by Quickfix-
Repairs Ltd (“Quickfix-Repairs Ltd”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By requesting, booking or using our services you confirm that you have read,
understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our services.

3. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms:
Booking
means the process whereby Quickfix-Repairs Ltd arranges attendance by an
independent contractor.
Emergency Booking Fee
means the fee payable directly to Quickfix-Repairs Ltd for locating, arranging and
introducing an appropriate emergency contractor.
Contractor
means an independent self-employed engineer or tradesperson introduced by
QuickFix-Repairs Ltd.
Customer
means any individual or business requesting Quickfix-Repairs Ltd’s services.
First Hour Labour Charge
means the agreed labour charge payable directly to the attending Contractor for the
first hour of attendance.
Additional Works
means any labour, materials or repairs carried out after the first hour.
Works
means any repair, investigation, maintenance or installation carried out by the
Contractor.
4. Nature of Our Service
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd is not a plumbing company, electrical company, gas company
or drainage company.
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd operates an emergency contractor introduction and booking
platform.
Our role is to:
• receive your enquiry
• locate a suitable independent contractor
• arrange attendance
• introduce the Contractor to you
Once a Contractor has accepted the booking and attended your property, the
Contractor is responsible for:
• diagnosing the fault
• recommending repairs
• carrying out any work
• collecting payment for labour
• collecting payment for parts
• providing invoices where required
• complying with all applicable laws and regulations
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd does not supervise or control how Contractors perform repair
works.
5. Independent Contractors
All Contractors introduced by Quickfix-Repairs Ltd operate as independent
businesses.
They are not employees, workers, agents or representatives of Quickfix-
Repairs Ltd.
Each Contractor is solely responsible for:
• their qualifications
• insurance
• licences
• certifications
• workmanship
• guarantees
• health and safety
• legal compliance
The contract for repair works is formed directly between the Customer and the
attending Contractor.
6. Emergency Booking Fee
Before any Contractor is dispatched, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd will clearly advise the
Customer of the applicable Emergency Booking Fee.
The Emergency Booking Fee is payable to Quickfix-Repairs Ltd.
The Emergency Booking Fee covers:
• locating an available Contractor
• arranging attendance
• introducing the Contractor
• administration
• customer support
• booking management
The Emergency Booking Fee does not include:
• labour
• parts
• repairs
• materials
• further attendance
Unless otherwise stated, the Emergency Booking Fee is separate from all charges
payable directly to the Contractor.
7. First Hour Labour Charge
Before dispatching a Contractor, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd will advise the Customer of the
applicable First Hour Labour Charge.
This amount is payable directly to the attending Contractor.
The First Hour Labour Charge is determined by Quickfix-Repairs Ltd and may vary
depending upon:
• trade required
• location
• travel distance
• complexity of works
• time of day
• weekends
• public holidays
• availability of Contractors
The Customer must agree to the First Hour Labour Charge before the Contractor is
dispatched.
8. Customer Acceptance
Before any booking is confirmed, the Customer must:
✔ verbally agree during the telephone call
AND
✔ confirm acceptance in writing by SMS, email or another written method approved
by Quickfix-Repairs Ltd.
For example:
“I AGREE”
or
“YES “
By providing written confirmation, the Customer confirms acceptance of:
• the Emergency Booking Fee
• the First Hour Labour Charge
• these Terms & Conditions
Only after written confirmation has been received will Quickfix-Repairs Ltd dispatch a
Contractor.

PART 2
9. Payments
The Customer agrees that, before a Contractor is dispatched, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd
will advise them of:
the applicable Emergency Booking Fee payable to Quickfix-Repairs Ltd; and
the First Hour Labour Charge payable directly to the attending Contractor.
The Customer must accept both charges before the booking is confirmed.
The Emergency Booking Fee is payable to Quickfix-Repairs Ltd.
The First Hour Labour Charge is payable directly to the attending Contractor unless
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd advises otherwise in writing.
The Customer acknowledges that Quickfix-Repairs Ltd is not responsible for
collecting payment on behalf of Contractors unless expressly agreed.
10. Additional Labour & Parts
The First Hour Labour Charge covers only the Contractor’s initial hour of attendance
unless otherwise stated.
Should additional labour, replacement parts, materials or further work be required,
the Contractor must explain:
the reason for the additional work;
the estimated cost;
any additional labour charges;
the cost of parts.
No additional work should begin until the Customer has agreed to those additional
charges.
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd accepts no responsibility for prices agreed directly between the
Customer and Contractor after the initial attendance.
11. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer agrees to:
provide accurate contact information;
provide an accurate property address;
provide accurate information regarding the reported fault where reasonably
possible;
ensure somebody aged 18 years or over is present during attendance unless
otherwise agreed;
ensure safe access to the property;
ensure the Contractor has permission to carry out the requested work.
Where the Customer is not the property owner, the Customer confirms they have
authority to instruct the requested works.
12. Access to Property
If the Contractor attends but cannot gain access because:
nobody is present;
access is refused;
keys cannot be obtained;
entry is unsafe;
the Emergency Booking Fee will remain payable.
The attending Contractor may also charge an aborted visit fee where legally
permitted and agreed with the Customer.
13. Attendance Times
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd always aims to locate an available Contractor as quickly as
reasonably possible.
However, attendance times are estimates only.
Factors outside our control include:
traffic;
severe weather;
road closures;
contractor availability;
ongoing emergency jobs;
public holidays;
unforeseen circumstances.
Accordingly, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd cannot guarantee any specific attendance time.
14. Cancellations
The Customer may cancel a booking at any time before a Contractor has accepted
the booking.
Once a Contractor has accepted the booking and Quickfix-Repairs Ltd has begun
arranging attendance, the Emergency Booking Fee will become payable.
Once a Contractor has been dispatched, the Emergency Booking Fee will remain payable unless Quickfix-Repairs Ltd agrees otherwise or a refund is required.

15. Customer No Shows
If a Contractor attends the agreed address but:
nobody answers the door;
the Customer cannot be contacted;
access is unavailable;
the booking shall be treated as attended.
The Emergency Booking Fee will not normally be refunded.
The Contractor may also charge an aborted attendance fee where applicable.
16. False or Misleading Information
Customers agree to provide truthful and accurate information.
Where Quickfix-Repairs Ltd reasonably believes a booking was made using false
information, fraudulent details or with malicious intent, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd reserves
the right to:
cancel the booking;
refuse future bookings;
retain the Emergency Booking Fee where permitted by law;
report fraudulent activity where appropriate.
17. Contractor Conduct
Contractors introduced through Quickfix-Repairs Ltd operate independently.
Contractors remain solely responsible for:
workmanship;
diagnosis;
repairs;
testing;
compliance with legislation;
qualifications;
insurance;
health and safety.
Any guarantee relating to repair work is provided by the Contractor unless expressly
stated otherwise.
18. Customer Behaviour
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd expects all Customers to treat Contractors and Quickfix-Repairs
Ltd staff respectfully.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings where Customers engage in:
threatening behaviour;
abusive language;
discrimination;
harassment;
violence;
illegal activity.
Where attendance becomes unsafe, the Contractor may immediately leave the
property.
19. Dangerous Conditions
Contractors may refuse to carry out work where they reasonably believe:
the property is unsafe;
illegal activity is taking place;
health and safety risks exist;
violence is threatened;
the requested work would breach legal or professional obligations.
The Emergency Booking Fee shall remain payable in these circumstances unless
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd decides otherwise.
20. Limitation of Liability
QuickFix-Repairs Ltd acts solely as an emergency contractor introduction and
booking platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd is not responsible for the workmanship, acts or
omissions of independent Contractors;
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd is not responsible for repair outcomes;
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd is not responsible for delays outside its reasonable
control;
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd is not responsible for disputes relating to labour charges,
parts or guarantees agreed directly between the Customer and Contractor.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is prohibited
by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or
any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Part 2 – PAYMENTS
2.1 Emergency Booking Fee
The Emergency Booking Fee is payable to Quickfix-Repairs Ltd in consideration for:
receiving the Customer’s request;
assessing the reported issue;
locating a suitable independent Contractor;
arranging attendance;
introducing the Contractor to the Customer;
administering the booking.
The Emergency Booking Fee is separate from all labour charges, materials, parts
and any additional work carried out by the Contractor.
2.2 First Hour Labour Charge
Before a Contractor is dispatched, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd will advise the Customer of
the agreed First Hour Labour Charge.
The Customer agrees that this amount is payable directly to the attending
Contractor.
The Contractor agrees to honour the First Hour Labour Charge confirmed by
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd unless the Customer expressly agrees otherwise before any
work begins.
2.3 Additional Labour
Should additional labour be required after completion of the first hour, the Contractor
must:
explain why additional labour is required;
advise the Customer of the applicable charges;
obtain the Customer’s agreement before continuing.
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd is not responsible for agreeing or collecting payment for
additional labour unless expressly agreed in writing.
2.4 Replacement Parts & Materials
Where replacement parts, materials or equipment are required, the Contractor must:
explain what is required;
explain why it is required;
provide the Customer with the applicable cost before purchasing or fitting
those items wherever reasonably practicable.
The Customer agrees that payment for replacement parts is made directly to the
Contractor unless otherwise agreed.
2.5 Payment to Contractors
The attending Contractor is responsible for collecting payment for:
First Hour Labour;
Additional Labour;
Parts;
Materials;
Further Visits;
Any Additional Works agreed with the Customer.
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd accepts no responsibility for collecting payment on behalf of
Contractors unless expressly agreed in writing.
2.6 Payment Methods
The Contractor may accept payment by any lawful payment method including but not
limited to:
Card
Bank Transfer
Cash
Digital Wallets
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd is not responsible for the payment methods offered by individual
Contractors.
2.7 Payment Due
Unless otherwise agreed, payment for labour, parts and any Additional Works shall
become due immediately upon completion of the relevant work.
2.8 Estimates
Any prices discussed before attendance are estimates based upon the information
provided by the Customer.
The Contractor may discover additional faults once inspection has commenced.
Where this occurs, no additional work should be undertaken until the Customer has
agreed the revised quotation.
2.9 VAT
Where applicable, VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate.
The Customer acknowledges that Contractors operate as independent businesses.
Some Contractors may be VAT registered whilst others may not be.
2.10 Non-Payment
Where a Customer fails or refuses to pay the Contractor for work properly authorised
and completed, any dispute regarding that payment shall normally be between the
Customer and the Contractor.
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd may assist in facilitating communication where appropriate but
is not responsible for payment disputes arising from work carried out by independent
Contractors.
2.11 Chargebacks
Where a Customer makes a payment to Quickfix-Repairs Ltd and subsequently
initiates a chargeback or payment reversal without lawful justification, Quickfix-
Repairs Ltd reserves the right to:
dispute the chargeback;
provide evidence of the Customer’s acceptance of these Terms and
Conditions;
recover any outstanding sums owed;
suspend or refuse future bookings.
2.12 Debt Recovery
Where sums lawfully owed to Quickfix-Repairs Ltd remain unpaid, Quickfix-Repairs
Ltd reserves the right to recover those sums using lawful debt recovery procedures.
The Customer may also be responsible for reasonable recovery costs where
permitted by law.
2.13 Pricing Errors
Whilst Quickfix-Repairs Ltd makes every effort to ensure pricing is accurate, genuine
pricing errors may occasionally occur.
Where a genuine error has occurred, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd reserves the right to
cancel or amend the booking before dispatch.
The Customer will be informed of any revised pricing before the booking proceeds.
2.14 No Hidden Charges
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd is committed to transparent pricing.
Before a Contractor is dispatched, the Customer will be informed of:
the Emergency Booking Fee; and
the First Hour Labour Charge.
No additional labour or replacement parts should be supplied without the Customer’s
agreement.
2.15 Contractor Pricing Authority
Contractors introduced by Quickfix-Repairs Ltd must not demand, request or collect
a higher First Hour Labour Charge than the amount confirmed by Quickfix-Repairs
Ltd unless the Customer has expressly agreed to a revised price before any work
begins.
SECTION 3 – CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
3.1 Customer Cancellation
The Customer may request cancellation of a booking at any time by contacting
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd using the contact details provided in the Booking Confirmation.
Cancellation requests should be made as soon as reasonably practicable.
3.2 Cancellation Before Contractor Allocation
Where the Customer cancels a booking before Quickfix-Repairs Ltd has allocated or
begun arranging a Contractor, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd may cancel the booking and
refund any Emergency Booking Fee paid, less any reasonable costs already
incurred where permitted by law.
3.3 Cancellation After Contractor Allocation
Once Quickfix-Repairs Ltd has allocated a Contractor and commenced arranging
attendance, the Emergency Booking Fee shall normally remain payable.
The Customer acknowledges that the Emergency Booking Fee is charged for the
booking and introduction service provided by Quickfix-Repairs Ltd and is separate
from any labour or repair charges.
3.4 Cancellation After Dispatch
Once a Contractor has accepted the booking and has been dispatched to the
Property, the Customer agrees that the Emergency Booking Fee has been earned by
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd for providing the agreed booking and introduction service.
The Emergency Booking Fee will not normally be refunded unless:
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd agrees otherwise in writing;
a refund is required by applicable law; or
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd is unable to provide the agreed booking service.
3.5 Customer Not Present
Where the Contractor attends the Property but:
nobody is present;
access is refused; the Customer cannot be contacted;
incorrect address details have been provided;
entry cannot be obtained;
the booking shall be treated as completed for the purposes of the Emergency
Booking Fee.
The Contractor may also charge an aborted attendance fee where agreed with the
Customer and permitted by law.
3.6 Failed Contact
If Quickfix-Repairs Ltd or the Contractor is unable to contact the Customer using the
contact details provided before or during attendance, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd may
cancel the booking without liability.
Where a Contractor has already been dispatched, the Emergency Booking Fee shall
normally remain payable.
3.7 Contractor Unable to Attend
If the allocated Contractor becomes unavailable due to circumstances outside
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd’s reasonable control, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd will use reasonable
efforts to locate an alternative Contractor.
Where no suitable Contractor can be located within a reasonable period, Quickfix-
Repairs Ltd may:
cancel the booking; or
offer the Customer an alternative attendance time.
Where QuickFix-Repairs Ltd is unable to provide the agreed booking service, any
Emergency Booking Fee paid may be partially refunded or in full if reasonable effort hasn't been made to fulfil the booking service requirements.
3.8 Customer Changes the Booking
If the Customer requests significant changes after the booking has been confirmed,
including:
changing the Property address;
changing the nature of the reported fault;
requesting a different trade;
requesting a different attendance time;
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd reserves the right to:
revise the Emergency Booking Fee;
revise the First Hour Labour Charge;
allocate a different Contractor; or
cancel the original booking and issue a replacement Booking Confirmation.
3.9 Fraudulent or Abusive Bookings
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd reserves the right to cancel any booking immediately where it
reasonably believes:
false information has been supplied;
the booking is fraudulent;
the booking has been made maliciously;
abuse has been directed towards Quickfix-Repairs Ltd staff or Contractors;
attendance would place any person at unreasonable risk.
In such circumstances, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd reserves the right to retain the
Emergency Booking Fee where permitted by law.
3.10 Refund Requests
All refund requests should be submitted to Quickfix-Repairs Ltd in writing.
Each request will be considered on its individual circumstances.
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be made using the original payment
method within a reasonable period.
3.11 Statutory Rights
Nothing in this section limits or excludes any statutory rights or remedies available to
consumers under applicable law.
Where consumer protection legislation requires a refund or other remedy, those legal
rights shall take precedence over these Terms and Conditions.
SECTION 4 – COMPLAINTS & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
4.1 Our Commitment
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd is committed to providing a professional, efficient and fair
booking and introduction service.
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, we encourage you to contact us
as soon as reasonably practicable so that we have the opportunity to investigate
and, where appropriate, resolve the matter.
4.2 Complaints About Quickfix-Repairs Ltd
Complaints relating to Quickfix-Repairs Ltd may include, but are not limited to:
our booking service;
customer service;
administration of your booking;
communication with our team;
the Emergency Booking Fee;
the booking process.
Complaints should be submitted as soon as possible after the issue arises.
4.3 Complaints About Contractors
As Contractors operate as independent businesses, complaints relating to the
following should normally be addressed directly with the attending Contractor:
workmanship;
quality of repairs;
labour charges;
replacement parts;
guarantees;
invoices;
additional works.
Where appropriate, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd may assist by facilitating communication
between the Customer and Contractor but does not determine liability for the
Contractor’s work.
4.4 How to Contact Us
Customers may contact Quickfix-Repairs Ltd using the contact details published on
our website.
Where possible, complaints should be submitted in writing by email to ensure an
accurate record is maintained.
Customers should include, where available:
Booking Reference Number;
Property Address;
Date of Attendance;
Contractor Name (if known);
Description of the Complaint;
Photographs or supporting evidence (where applicable).
4.5 Investigation
Upon receiving a complaint, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd will:
acknowledge receipt within a reasonable period;
review the information provided;
request further information if necessary;
contact the Contractor where appropriate;
aim to provide a fair and reasonable response.
The time required to investigate may vary depending on the complexity of the
complaint.
4.6 Customer Cooperation
The Customer agrees to provide any information reasonably requested by Quickfix-
Repairs Ltd to assist with the investigation of a complaint.
Failure to provide requested information may delay the investigation.
4.7 Contractor Cooperation
Where a complaint relates to a Contractor introduced through Quickfix-Repairs Ltd,
the Contractor may be asked to provide:
photographs;
invoices;
job notes;
quotations;
attendance records;
any other relevant evidence.
4.8 Evidence
To help investigate complaints, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd may rely upon evidence
including, but not limited to:
telephone recordings;
AI-assisted call transcripts;
SMS messages;
emails;
Booking Confirmations;
payment records;
photographs;
CCTV footage (where lawfully available);
correspondence between the parties.
4.9 Resolution
Where Quickfix-Repairs Ltd considers that a complaint relating to its own booking
service is justified, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd may, where appropriate:
apologise;
correct any administrative error;
refund all or part of the Emergency Booking Fee;
offer another suitable remedy where appropriate.
Nothing in this clause requires Quickfix-Repairs Ltd to accept liability where none
exists.
4.10 Complaints Relating to Repair Work
Where a complaint concerns the standard, quality or outcome of repair work carried
out by a Contractor, the Customer acknowledges that the contract for those works
exists between the Customer and the Contractor.
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd is not responsible for determining liability in relation to those
works.
4.11 Alternative Dispute Resolution
If a dispute cannot be resolved through our complaints process, the parties may
consider using an appropriate form of Alternative Dispute Resolution (“ADR”), such
as mediation, where suitable.
Nothing in this clause prevents either party from exercising any legal rights available
to them.
4.12 Legal Proceedings
Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from commencing legal proceedings
where appropriate.
However, both parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably
before commencing formal legal action.
4.13 Continuous Improvement
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd values customer feedback and may use complaints,
suggestions and feedback to improve its services, contractor network and customer
experience.

SECTION 5 – DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY
5.1 Privacy Commitment
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information
of all Customers, Contractors and website users.
We will collect, use, store and process personal information only where we have a
lawful basis for doing so and in accordance with applicable data protection
legislation.
5.2 Applicable Legislation
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd processes personal data in accordance with:
the UK General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”);
the Data Protection Act 2018;
the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (where applicable);
any other applicable data protection legislation.
5.3 Information We Collect
Depending upon the services requested, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd may collect
information including:

Property Address
Billing Address
Telephone Number
Email Address
Details of the reported emergency
Booking history
Payment information
Communication records
Call recordings
AI-assisted call transcripts
Website usage information
IP Address
Device information
Location data where provided by the Customer
We only collect information that is reasonably necessary to provide our services or
comply with our legal obligations.
5.4 How We Use Your Information
Your personal information may be used to:
arrange emergency attendance;
locate an appropriate Contractor;
administer your booking;
process payments;
communicate with you regarding your booking;
respond to enquiries;
investigate complaints;
improve our services;
prevent fraud;
comply with legal obligations.
5.5 Sharing Information
To provide our services, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd may share relevant information with:
the attending Contractor;
payment providers;
IT and communications providers;
customer support providers;
legal or regulatory authorities where required by law.
We will only share information reasonably necessary for the purpose concerned.
5.6 Contractors
Where Quickfix-Repairs Ltd introduces a Contractor, we will normally provide only
the information reasonably required for them to attend and complete the booking.
This may include:
Customer Name;
Property Address;
Telephone Number;
Description of the reported issue;
Booking Reference.
Contractors are independent businesses and are responsible for handling any
personal information they receive in accordance with applicable data protection
legislation.
5.7 Payment Information
Payment information is processed using secure payment providers.
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd does not intentionally store complete payment card details
unless required by our authorised payment processor and permitted by law.
5.8 Call Recording
Telephone calls may be recorded or monitored for purposes including:
staff training;
quality assurance;
fraud prevention;
complaint investigation;
customer safety;
legal compliance.
Where calls are recorded, those recordings may be retained for a reasonable period.
5.9 AI-Assisted Communications
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd may use artificial intelligence (“AI”) technologies to assist with
customer communications, including:
answering telephone calls;
transcribing conversations;
summarising enquiries;
routing bookings;
assisting our customer support team.
AI systems are used to support our operations and do not replace human oversight
where important decisions affecting Customers are made.
5.10 Marketing
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd will only send marketing communications where permitted by
law or where the Customer has provided the necessary consent.
Customers may opt out of marketing communications at any time using the methods
provided within those communications.
5.11 Data Retention
Personal information will only be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to:
provide our services;
comply with legal obligations;
resolve disputes;
enforce our agreements;
maintain appropriate business records.
Retention periods may vary depending upon the nature of the information
concerned.
5.12 Customer Rights

7.3 Contractor Availability
The Customer acknowledges that Quickfix-Repairs Ltd relies upon the availability of
independent Contractors.
Where a Contractor becomes unavailable due to illness, emergency call-outs,
vehicle breakdown, staff shortages or any other circumstance outside Quickfix-
Repairs Ltd’s reasonable control, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd shall use reasonable efforts to
locate an alternative Contractor.
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd does not guarantee that a replacement Contractor will always
be available.
7.4 Suspension of Services
Where a Force Majeure Event prevents Quickfix-Repairs Ltd from providing its
services, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd may:
suspend bookings;
postpone attendance;
cancel bookings;
offer an alternative appointment where available.
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd will use reasonable efforts to keep affected Customers
informed.
7.5 Liability
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd shall not be liable for any delay, cancellation or failure to
perform its obligations where such delay or failure results directly from a Force
Majeure Event.
Nothing in this clause excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
7.6 Customer Notification
Where reasonably practicable, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd will notify the Customer as soon
as possible if a Force Majeure Event affects their booking.
The method of communication may include:
telephone;
SMS;
email; or
any other reasonable means of communication.
7.7 Emergency Booking Fee
Where a Force Majeure Event occurs before Quickfix-Repairs Ltd has successfully
arranged the agreed booking service, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd will consider whether the
Emergency Booking Fee should be refunded, credited towards a future booking, or
otherwise dealt with in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the
event.
Each situation will be assessed on its individual merits.
7.8 Resumption of Services
Following the end of a Force Majeure Event, Quickfix-Repairs Ltd will use
reasonable efforts to resume normal operations and continue providing its services
as soon as reasonably practicable.
7.9 Customer Rights
Nothing in this Section affects any statutory rights available to Customers under
applicable consumer protection legislation.
SECTION 8 – GENERAL PROVISIONS & GOVERNING LAW
8.1 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions, together with any dispute or claim arising out of or in
connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be
governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
8.2 Jurisdiction
Subject to any mandatory consumer rights, the courts of England and Wales shall
have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine any dispute arising out of or in
connection with these Terms and Conditions.
Nothing in this clause affects a Customer’s statutory rights regarding jurisdiction
where applicable consumer protection legislation provides otherwise.
8.3 Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with any Booking Confirmation, Privacy
Policy, Cookie Policy and any other documents expressly referred to within them,
constitute the entire agreement between Quickfix-Repairs Ltd and the Customer in
relation to the booking service.
They supersede any previous discussions, representations, understandings or
agreements relating to that booking.
8.4 No Reliance
The Customer confirms that they have not relied upon any statement, promise or
representation made by Quickfix-Repairs Ltd unless it is expressly set out within
these Terms and Conditions or confirmed in writing by Quickfix-Repairs Ltd.
Nothing in this clause excludes liability for fraudulent misrepresentation.
8.5 Variation
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time
where reasonably necessary to:
comply with changes in the law;
improve our services;
reflect operational changes;
improve customer protection;
improve security.
The version applicable to the Customer’s booking shall be the version in force at the
time the booking is confirmed.
8.6 Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found by a court or other
competent authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be
deemed severed.
The remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
8.7 Waiver
If Quickfix-Repairs Ltd delays or chooses not to enforce any provision of these Terms
and Conditions on one occasion, this shall not prevent Quickfix-Repairs Ltd from
enforcing that provision or any other provision at a later date.
8.8 Assignment
Quickfix-Repairs Ltd may assign, transfer or subcontract any of its rights or
obligations under these Terms where reasonably necessary.
The Customer may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms
without the prior written consent of Quickfix-Repairs Ltd.
8.9 Third Party Rights
Except for the attending Contractor where expressly stated, no person who is not a
party to these Terms shall have any right to enforce any provision under the
Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
8.10 Electronic Communications
The Customer agrees that Quickfix-Repairs Ltd may communicate using:
telephone;
SMS;
email;
website notifications;
secure messaging platforms; or
other electronic methods reasonably adopted by Quickfix-Repairs Ltd.
Electronic communications shall satisfy any requirement for communication in writing
where permitted by law.
8.11 Electronic Acceptance
The Customer agrees that acceptance of these Terms may be evidenced by:
replying “I AGREE” or similar wording to an SMS or email;
completing an online booking;
ticking an online acceptance box;
making payment of the Emergency Booking Fee after being provided with
these Terms;
any other clear electronic confirmation accepted by Quickfix-Repairs Ltd.
The Customer agrees that such acceptance has the same legal effect as a
handwritten signature where permitted by law.
8.12 Survival
Any provisions which by their nature are intended to continue after the completion or
termination of a booking shall remain in force, including but not limited to:
payment obligations;
limitation of liability;
intellectual property;
confidentiality;
data protection;
governing law;
dispute resolution.

SECTION 9 – CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & ACCEPTANCE
9.1 Customer Confirmation
By requesting a booking through Quickfix-Repairs Ltd, the Customer confirms that
they:
have read these Terms and Conditions;
understand the nature of the Quickfix-Repairs Ltd service;
have had the opportunity to ask questions before proceeding;
understand that Quickfix-Repairs Ltd acts as an emergency contractor
introduction and booking service;
understand that Contractors are independent businesses;
agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
9.2 Charges
The Customer confirms that, before a Contractor is dispatched, they have been
informed of:
the applicable Emergency Booking Fee payable to Quickfix-Repairs Ltd; and
the applicable First Hour Labour Charge payable directly to the attending
Contractor.
The Customer confirms that these charges have been explained and accepted
before the booking is confirmed.
9.3 Written Acceptance
The Customer acknowledges that Quickfix-Repairs Ltd requires written confirmation
before dispatching a Contractor.
Written confirmation may be provided by:
replying to an SMS;
replying to an email;
completing an online booking form;
ticking an online acceptance box; or
any other written or electronic method accepted by Quickfix-Repairs Ltd.
The Customer agrees that such confirmation constitutes acceptance of these Terms
and Conditions.
9.4 Authority
The Customer confirms that they have the legal authority to:
request the attendance of a Contractor;
enter into this agreement;
authorise the Emergency Booking Fee;
authorise the First Hour Labour Charge;
authorise any Additional Works that they subsequently approve.
Where the Customer is acting on behalf of a business, landlord, property owner or
organisation, the Customer confirms that they have authority to bind that party.
9.5 Accuracy of Information
The Customer confirms that all information supplied to Quickfix-Repairs Ltd is true,
accurate and complete to the best of their knowledge.
The Customer agrees to notify Quickfix-Repairs Ltd as soon as reasonably
practicable if any material information changes before the Contractor attends.
9.6 Customer Responsibility for Additional Works
The Customer understands that the attending Contractor may recommend additional
repairs after inspecting the reported issue.
The Customer acknowledges that:
they are under no obligation to accept Additional Works;
no Additional Works should proceed without their agreement;
Additional Works are contracted directly between the Customer and the
Contractor.
9.7 Booking Records
The Customer agrees that Quickfix-Repairs Ltd may retain records relating to the
booking, including:
telephone recordings;
AI-assisted call transcripts;
emails;
SMS messages;
Booking Confirmations;
payment records;
customer correspondence.
These records may be used for customer service, quality assurance, fraud
prevention, complaint handling, legal compliance and dispute resolution, and will be
processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9.8 Electronic Agreement
The Customer acknowledges that acceptance of these Terms by electronic means,
including SMS, email or website confirmation, is intended to have the same effect as
signing a written agreement, where permitted by applicable law.
9.9 Questions Before Booking
If the Customer is uncertain about any part of these Terms and Conditions, Quickfix-
Repairs Ltd encourages the Customer to seek clarification before confirming the
booking.
Once the booking has been confirmed, the Customer will be deemed to have
accepted these Terms and Conditions.
